Returns and Right of Withdrawal – VG Charme

Our Exclusive Service for Perfumes

Try before deciding! With every perfume purchased, VG Charme includes a complimentary "Try Me" tester of the same selected fragrance, allowing you to try it several times without opening the main sealed package. If the perfume doesn’t convince you, you can return the main sealed package within 14 days from receipt.

Right of Withdrawal (Legal Guarantee)

As provided by the Italian Consumer Code, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, without providing any reason. This right applies to all our products.

Conditions for Withdrawal/Return

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the product must be:

  • Intact and unused
  • In its complete original packaging
  • With all tags, seals, and accessories included
  • Accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase
  • Properly packaged for return shipping (it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure safe packaging)

Important: For hygiene and health protection reasons, returns of cosmetic products, body care items, or perfumes with opened packaging or broken seals cannot be accepted (Art. 59, paragraphs 3–4, Legislative Decree 206/2005).

Note: For products without external seals or with integrated dispensers, we reserve the right to refuse the return if, after visual or olfactory inspection, there is even a suspicion of opening or use, as provided by Art. 59 of the Consumer Code.

How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal

  1. Send a request via email to ecommerce@vgcharme.com within 14 days of receiving the product, stating your intention to withdraw, your order number, and attaching the purchase receipt. You can find the template form (Annex I of Legislative Decree 206/2005) at this link. Withdrawal becomes effective when you send the email.
  2. Wait for our confirmation before shipping. We will send you an email with the return authorization and shipping instructions. You have 14 days from our confirmation date to ship the sealed main package.
  3. Ship the product to the following address:

Shipping costs: Return shipping costs and responsibilities are borne by the customer. We can provide you with an insured Poste Italiane Reverse return label, if available, at a fixed cost of 10€ (Italy only) or €15 (UE Customers only, the cost may vary depending on your location). You can request it in the same email.

Note: Packages sent without prior authorization will not be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse returns that are not properly packaged.

Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Customized or made-to-order products
  • Cosmetic, body care, or perfume products with opened packaging
  • Perishable products or items with a short expiration date
  • Gift cards

Refunds

Once the product has been received and verified:

  • We will inform you of the verification outcome
  • If approved, you will receive a full refund of the initial shipping costs within 14 days of receiving the return (as required by law), through the original payment method
  • Bank processing times may vary

If after 14 days from the approval of your withdrawal you have not received your refund, please contact us at ecommerce@vgcharme.com.

Legal Guarantee for Lack of Conformity

All products sold on this website are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity, as provided in Articles 128 and following of the Consumer Code. In case of a lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery, the consumer has the right, at no cost, to restore product conformity through repair or replacement. If repair or replacement is not possible or is excessively burdensome, you may request a price reduction or contract termination. The guarantee is valid for two years from the date of delivery and protects the consumer in cases of products with objective defects existing at delivery, such as visible alterations, abnormal scents, texture issues, or packaging malfunctions.

Since these are cosmetic and personal hygiene products, for hygienic and sanitary reasons, the guarantee does not cover defects arising from opening, use, improper storage (exposure to heat, humidity, or contamination), or tampering with the contents by the consumer.

To file a complaint, the customer must report the defect within 2 months of discovery and provide, if requested, photographic documentation or other proof useful for verifying the issue. Complaints concerning partially or fully used products cannot be accepted unless there is clear evidence of an original defect not caused by use.
